CHISTRE Secures Fiscal Sponsorship from U.S.-Based Give2Africa

The Centre for HIV/AIDS and STD Research (CHISTRE) is pleased to announce that it is now fiscally sponsored by Give2Africa, a United States–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

This milestone marks a significant step in CHISTRE’s institutional growth and global positioning. Through this fiscal sponsorship arrangement, Give2Africa will provide financial oversight, compliance support, and a legal framework that enables CHISTRE to access international funding opportunities, particularly from donors who require U.S.-based nonprofit partners.

What this means:
Fiscal sponsorship allows CHISTRE to receive tax-deductible donations in the United States under Give2Africa’s nonprofit status. It also strengthens transparency, accountability, and donor confidence, while enabling CHISTRE to scale its public health interventions, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and viral hepatitis programs across underserved communities in Nigeria and beyond.

This partnership enhances CHISTRE’s capacity to mobilize resources, implement high-impact programs, and collaborate more effectively with global partners committed to improving health outcomes.
