NDUKA OZOR

Executive Director of the Centre for HIV/AIDS and STD Research (CHISTRE),

He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and has over 20 years of experience in humanitarian organizations. He has consistently supported communities through HIV/AIDS prevention, TB programs, and viral hepatitis interventions. Renowned for his leadership, advocacy, and partnership-building, Nduka drives impactful, community-centered health initiatives that strengthen systems, promote wellness, and improve the lives of vulnerable populations.

SANI ADAMU LIMAN KATAGUM

His background in public health and medical science aligns with his role as Deputy Director Planning and Program Manager at the Centre for HIV/AIDS and STD Research in Bauchi State. With a degree in Medical Laboratory Science and master’s degrees in Health Management and Planning and Public Health, he is well-equipped to handle healthcare planning

ADAMU GAMAWA

He is a clinician neuro physiotherapist, community health advocate and university lecturer with experience in managing patients from different socioeconomic background, in their homes and in Hospitals. His life in-between African type semi-urban and rural communities have allowed him the chance to understand the meaning of having and not having health equity and access to dignified life.

MUKHTAR ADAMU MUHAMMAD

He is an academic and public health professional with expertise in Applied Parasitology, Public Health, and Medical Laboratory Sciences. Holding an MSc. And pursuing a PhD in Applied Parasitology, complemented by a B.Tech in Applied Zoology and HND in Public Health Technology, he currently serves as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at CHISTRE Nigeria, where he designs and implements evidence-based public health interventions targeting hard-to-reach communities, with a particular focus on children and pregnant women.

RUTH OBIANERI

She is a compassionate professional nurse and midwife with CHISTRE. She possesses strong skills in maternal, neonatal, and general care, she provides safe deliveries, NICU support, and health education. Ruth is committed to patient-centered care, combining clinical expertise with empathy to improve family health and wellbeing.
